Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs NRL Star Sam Perrett is the newest Ambassador to help Miracle Babies Foundation.

“Our youngest son, Sam Jnr was born premature with a heart condition and spent time in the NICU.  The Miracle Babies Foundation NurtureProgram is vitally important for families and we are thrilled to help and support Miracle Babies.”  Sam Said.

Sam and wife Jemma have 3 children, however it was the unexpected complications when Sam Jnr was born that led to the traumatic and emotional experience of having a sick baby.  Sam Jnr required heart surgery which was a very difficult time for the young family and three years on, the Perrett family want to help the families and hospitals by raising awareness of the NICU/SCN journey and the ongoing challenges as these miracle babies grow up.

“It was an honour to tour Liverpool Hospital’s NICU and meet families and staff.  It is such a special place filled with love and care to help create miracles.”  Sam said on his tour of the NICU at Liverpool recently.  Families and staff were thrilled to meet Sam and capture the special meeting with photos.

Sam’s achievements also include time with the Sydney Roosters and the New Zealand Kiwis.
