Post-Pregnancy Information launches on

Nurture ‘E’ Information Hub

With thanks to the support of Chiesi, Corporate Partner of Miracle Babies Foundation, the Nurture ‘E’ Information Hub continues to expand.

With over 80 years’ experience, Chiesi is a global pharmaceutical company dedicated to the research, development and sales of innovative, therapeutic prescription medicines in the field of respiratory, neonatology, transplant medicine and rare diseases

The birth of a premature or sick baby can be emotionally overwhelming and the experience can impact the entire family unit. With Chiesi’s support, the expansion of the hub which now includes Post-Pregnancy support and Information will guide mothers through the post-birth period, helping them to navigate the emotional and health implications that can follow an early or unexpected birth and assist in recovery, coping and personal care.

The continued partnership with Chiesi has allowed the Foundation to deliver on its vision to continue to grow the reach of the hub spanning all life stages with the introduction of Early Years and Preschool Years in 2024.

Receiving an International Award at the 2023 EFCNI Parent Organisation Summit, The Nurture E Information Hub was developed together with health professionals, to empower families with greater knowledge and confidence to advocate for their child and for themselves through the critical development years and beyond, up until adulthood.

Every year in Australia, around 48,000 babies require specialised medical care due to prematurity or sickness at birth. For these families, the impacts on their child’s health, development along with their own mental health can be lifelong.

Chiesi’s support continues to be invaluable in enhancing the lives of these families, increasing help-seeking and early intervention, along with greater understanding of their child’s and their own risks, leading to better outcomes for the entire family unit. Petrol Vouchers will also be provided to selected hospitals to assist and help relieve families during this stressful time with their baby in the Neonatal Unit.
