"Sarah and Brad were enjoying their final family holiday together before their family grew by two, when Sarah’s water broke 9 weeks early.
Sarah was flown from Lismore to John Hunter Hospital where she gave birth to twins, La-Renzo and La-Rado, they didn’t want to miss out on any of the fun!
Luckily, there were no complications during the birth and Sarah was able to have a natural birth. Due to the twins being premature they are now being cared for in NICU at John Hunter Children’s Hospital, Sarah and Brad can already tell they how strong and resilient they are.
While, Sarah and Brad already know how wonderful the twins are, being born in NAIDOC week is very special and they are looking forward to raising the twins and teaching them the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander."
