Miracle mum Isabella shares Luca-Grae's story:

At 23 weeks I experienced some abdominal pain which was appendicitis, and underwent surgery. When we thought all was well, at 25 weeks I became septic and an emergency c section was performed. This was one of the scariest days of our lives. Being asleep for his birth, not being with my husband when he met him, not meeting him for 3 days, not hearing his first cry, asking for permission to hold him, having to leave him at hospital, countless nights pumping to no baby, were some of the toughest times.
A world we had no idea existed and now has a huge place in our hearts. The doctors and nurses that grew our boy, we could never thank enough. Although the journey was tough, we are so grateful and proud to watch our baby grow. We are also forever mindful of the Angel preemie babies ❣️❣️
