Miracle mum Keti shares Luka and Dion's story:

After going through multiple rounds of IVF for both boys and thinking that was a tough journey little did we know that both pregnancies wouldn't be smooth sailing. Both our boys were born at 29 weeks and 6 days exactly.
Luka was born on 20th Nov 2012 after I had intense pain throughout my pregnancy and was in and out of hospital they couldn’t work out why I was in so much pain and then I ended up having kidney and liver failure and I needed to be induced and Luka was born at 29 weeks 6 days gestation.

After the birth I was told by my team of specialists that having another baby was out of the question as I had experienced a lot of issues and nearly lost my life.But with sheer determination and wanting Luka to have a brother or sister, my husband and I decided to go down the path of IVF to give Luka a sibling and so our IVF journey began again. After 13 months of nonstop treatments with 3 egg retrievals with that 13 month period and monthly transfers, we fell pregnant with Dion.

With my second pregnancy, I was monitored closely for kidney and liver functions but I ended up having placenta previa in the early hours of 26th November 2015 and had to be transported by ambulance to Royal Women's Hospital in Randwick and have an emergency C-Section and Dion was Born at 29 weeks 6 days gestation.
