Our miracle baby was born 3 years ago today onboard an ambulance plane at 33 weeks. After a stint in NICU at John Hunter we were sent back to our local hospital peads to round out her stability breastfeeding.
She is a vivacious and high-energy big sister to her 1yo brother who was born full term due to some fabulous early intervention (cerclage) to get us over the line (just… 37.2).
I speak often of my experience and efforts to support other rural women facing a lack of services, higher risks of adverse/traumatic births, isolation when our babies are unwell or we experience complex pregnancies. @her_rural_psychologist
