When a baby is born requiring specialised care, many feel helpless and at a loss to know what they can do for their tiny babies. Days and weeks can go by without holding your precious baby or grandchild. However, at these times when physical touch is not always possible, the simple act of reading to baby can be very beneficial to both the baby and parent, and even for grandparents.

When a baby is born premature or sick, the entire family unit is impacted. The right support can significantly improve long-term outcomes for parents and children, and also improve the emotional wellbeing of grandparents and their ability to cope and support the family.
