Tax Time is now, make your donation count. It costs $143 to provide support to just one family through their hospital journey, and $715 to continue this support during the first year after leaving the hospital with our NurtureProgram.
Wondering where your Tax Time donation goes?
Did you know that our NurtureProgram is Australia's first comprehensive parent to parent support program available from a threatened pregnancy, during the time spent in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery (SCN), the transition to home and beyond. This support also includes the loss of a baby cared for by a NICU/SCN.
This program is provided free to Australia’s miracle families and includes play and support groups after discharge.
Having a baby born premature or sick can be life-changing and impacts can last a lifetime. It is not uncommon for parents to experience anxiety, depression and PTSD, and children can go on to face life-long challenges. Having access to peer support can make a world of difference, knowing that others have been through, and are still going through, a similar experience.

NurtureLine is a free family support helpline catering for families with a threatened pregnancy, the hospital journey with a baby currently in NICU or SCN, the transition to home and onwards.
Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is answered by our friendly team who can transfer your call to an approved and trained family support team member.
In light of most Neonatal Intensive Care Units being closed to only parental visitors, we have added NurtureOnline ZOOM sessions to our NurtureProgram.
It is important that families feel supported and stay connected with peers that are going through a similar experience.
NurtureTime in-hospital support is facilitated by caring parents who themselves have experienced the birth of a premature or sick newborn.
Our qualified NurtureTime team members visit the hospital to offer support, guidance and hope. Parents, family and friends can ask questions, share their thoughts and feelings knowing the team member has a shared experience.
Miracle Babies Foundation supplies a range of NurtureResources for families with a premature or sick newborn, to help support families during what can be an emotional and traumatic time. Our resources are developed by parents themselves who have had a premature or sick baby and work toward supporting, educating and empowering families from admission, discharge, bereavement and the transition to home.
NurtureGroup is a free play and support group for families who have experienced the birth of a premature or sick newborn. We welcome all NICU and Special Care Nursery families.
Parents and carers can exchange ideas on parenting, tackle medical issues, share stories, build support networks, form friendships and ease the isolation that can often be felt by families of premature and sick newborns.
Miracle Babies Nurture E Information Hub is designed to assist families through different life stages of their growing and developing child beyond the baby, infant and toddler years. Nurture E - The EEE Impact has been created in collaboration with parents and health professionals to provide parents with Evidence, Education and Empowerment.
"We hadn’t heard about the Miracle Babies Foundation until our hospital stay. They provided information to all the parents in the NICU and lots of gift packs which were a lovely surprise when you are going through such a rough and stressful time." Ben and Laura Jacka.
