Miracle Mum, Tia shares the frightening moment she realised she was being rushed in for an emergency C-section.
"At six weeks we thought we lost our baby when I suffered with an unknown bleed.
The bleeding never stopped and the next few months I was hospitalised five times with heavy bleeding and losing large clots. The cause remained unknown and every doctor gave me a different answer.
At 27 weeks my waters broke and I was rushed back to hospital. At this stage my baby was losing weight and I couldn’t feel much movement.
I was in hospital on bed rest for two weeks, until my baby started to show signs of distress. I was rushed away without being told I was going to have an emergency C-section. Zayne Charles was born at 29+3 weeks on the 8th of April.
The COVID-19 restrictions made the whole experience more challenging and scary, but we made it. Zayne is now 3 months old and is happy and healthy."
