Dear ##firstname##,
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is an annual day of remembrance for pregnancy loss and infant death, held on October 15th each year. Today we support the many families affected by the loss of a baby and help them to honour and celebrate the babies they have lost.
Every year in Australia approximately 48,000 babies are born requiring the help of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Special Care Nursery. Of the 48,000 requiring specialised care, up to 1,000 of these precious babies will sadly lose their fight for life.
To acknowledge and raise awareness for Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day, Miracle Babies asks to light a candle to honour those that were taken too soon.
If everyone was to light a candle at 7pm (local time) and leave it burning for one hour there will be a continuous wave of light across the world for 24hrs. Share your lit candles with us through our Facebook and Instagram comments to honour the families affected by loss.
