We are looking for a NurtureProgram Support Worker to join our team in Adelaide

Dear ##firstname##,

Miracle Babies Foundation is Australia’s leading not for profit organisation supporting premature and sick babies, their families and the hospitals that care for them. Around 48,000 newborn babies require specialised medical care in Australia every year.

We're now recruiting for a part-time NurtureProgram Support Worker to join our team.

The role consists of conducting the Foundation’s NurtureTime service with the NurtureProgram team; providing peer support, guidance and hope within the neonatal unit of the partnering hospital, for families that have babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery (SCN). The NurtureProgram Support Worker will also deliver NurtureGroups (free play and support groups within the community). This person will demonstrate continued commitment to provide the highest standard of care in peer to peer parent support for families of premature and sick newborns to families discharged from hospital.

Are you motivated and passionate to provide support to other families from your own personal experience of having a baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Special Care Nursery (SCN)? It is important that you demonstrate that you are sensitive, display warmth, non-judgmental characteristics and able to communicate effectively with empathy.
