Annabelle was born at 1.11am on Saturday 8th of December 2012 at 23 weeks and 2 days, five days short of the being able to be resuscitated.  Annabelle weighed only 598 grams and measured 21cm in length. She was perfect.

On Thursday August 23rd 2013 I was 23 weeks and 2 days pregnant with identical twin girls. At 6pm I began having bad back pains. These pain persisted for around one hour and then I told my partner that we needed to get it checked out.

I woke up fine but during the morning my little girl started kicking nonstop, so I called up the midwives and they asked if I could drive to the hospital. I was speeding down the freeway hoping a police car would pull me over so they could drive faster but no luck.

On the 11th of March 2000 I began experiencing contractions at 23 weeks and 4 days and was very upset as we had lost our first baby at 22 weeks. I rushed to our local hospital and was immediately put on a drip to try and stop the labour and given my first steroid injection and transported to the John Hunter Hospital NICU.
