My road to motherhood did not look like any normal pregnancy, being rushed to from a rural town to Perth in Western Australia at 31 weeks to be told my daughter had stopped growing at 28 weeks without warning.

My Daughter Tilleigh was born at 33 weeks weighing in at 1120 grams at King Edward Memorial Hospital due to living regional. I was living at the Ronald McDonald house for 10 weeks. Unable to return home for a short stay as it was hard being away from my tiny fighter. I would like to give back to regional and remote parents going through the same experiences.

Outside of being a mum, I hold a degree in Agriculture as well as being a Volunteer Firefighter. I hope that my lived experience can assist someone else going through the same journey.
