Robyn Cross

Robyn, the mum of 2 beautiful boys, joined our team as a Nurture Time Volunteer in 2023 because of her personal experience with her youngest son, Riley who was born at 35 weeks.

“After a traumatic 3 months on bed rest at the John Hunter Hospital with a rare condition, and with a toddler at home and no family support in Newcastle, I felt alone and vulnerable.”

Fast forward 12 years with now happy and healthy teenagers, Robyn feels both honoured and passionate to be able to support parents navigate their way through NICU and the Special Care Nursery at the John Hunter Children’s Hospital.
