I am a mum of two babes. Our second babe Evelyn was born in April 2023 at 29 weeks weighing 602g.

We spent 132 days in the NICU at the royal women's Hospital in Melbourne.

Evelyn's premature birth was a consequence of a dangerous blood clot forming in my placenta causing her to have severe fetal growth restriction (IUFGR) and also no amniotic fluid around her.

I have been a kindergarten teacher for the last decade and really love being able to connect with other miracle babies and their families at NurtureGroup.

The reason I began NurtureGroup was to be able to connect with families who had experienced what I had and be able to provide a peer support network for others too.
