WORLD PREMATURITY DAY, 17th NOVEMBER
World Prematurity Day highlights the premature birth of 15 million babies each year worldwide. More than 1 million will die and many more face serious lifelong health challenges. Around 27,000 babies are born prematurely each year in Australia alone! Help us raise awareness and achieve our vision of 'better, healthier outcomes for newborns and their families challenged by prematurity or sickness'.
This November 17, we would like to see you LIGHT IT PURPLE for premature infants. Light purple candles, light your offices and homes in purple and get your community involved. We look forward to seeing a ray of purple light around the country.
