NURTURE INFORMATION HUB
The Adulthood information pages are aimed to provide evidence, education and empowerment to adults that were born premature or sick. Adulthood sees you more responsible of your health and lifestyle and we aim to support you with information on longitudinal studies and evidence of any long term impact your birth story may have on your long term health.
We encourage you to learn and be aware of your birth story and share this with your health care team so any possible links or monitoring can be followed, helping you achieve the best health for you in your adult years.
Babies born premature, small for their gestational age or babies that have had complications that lead to their NICU/SCN stay run a higher risk of challenges, therefore it’s important to continue monitoring your health and sharing your birth story.
At times there are opportunities to join longitudinal studies or complete surveys for researchers to help them learn more about long term outcomes for those born premature or sick. Please keep an eye on these pages for such opportunities or should you experience anything that is not listed in our topics, please contact us.
We are here to help! Miracle Babies Foundation information hub Nurture ’E’ – The EEE Impact, is designed to assist you and your family through adulthood.
